Fair Training Center (FTC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming how workers prepare for migration—whether overseas or within the Philippines. Our mission is clear: to end the cycle of forced labor by equipping migrant workers with the skills, knowledge, and confidence they need to succeed in their new environments.
We believe migration should be a choice, not a risk. Through our innovative training programs customized for organizations, recruitment agencies and schools, we set a new standard for how workers—whether those applying for jobs abroad, or those relocating to urban centers— navigate employment transitions with dignity and success.
Transforming Pre-Migration & Local Workforce Training
Since 2016, Fair Training Center has been redefining how workers prepare for migration. We developed a groundbreaking training program that goes beyond technical skills, ensuring workers—whether leaving for jobs overseas or transitioning within the country—are truly equipped for success.
Domestic Workers: Our training has increased retention rates from 65% to 90% for first-time domestic workers.
Fishers & Seafarers: We have expanded our curriculum to address the unique challenges faced by migrant fishers and seafarers, ensuring they are better protected in the industry.
Local Migrants: We now support young people in the provinces by teaching soft skills for urban migration, helping them transition successfully into jobs in Manila and other major cities.
